1. Elderly person alone in dimly lit living room. Room is quite empty apart from armchair in which they are sat and TV opposite them. They press a button on remote control and the TV starts playing, this is when the music of the song begins, Camera moves towards TV screen and the screen then fills the shot. 2. Drone shot looking down on the four teenagers who are lying on their backs looking up to the camera. The idea is that the drone in the sky is representing a hypersonic missile and the characters are watching it with no reaction. 3. Four different shots that change on beat. (to be decided what of) either four of the main locations or maybe up close shots of the four main characters. 4. Shot shows a sofa in the middle of a field with the actors sat on it. (this will reflect the elderly person sat alone on the arm chair.) Shot changes in time to music and in each shot the   actors change position. Either 4 or 8 shots of this. Overall story- Older person in the future watching back old videos from their childhood, before it was too late to reverse the wrongdoings on earth. Day in the life sort of theme- broken up by different shots. Shots start off slow then get faster as the characters realise this is the world ending. Contrast between manic shot and calm shot to portray the emotions that teenagers feel and to emphasise the mad happenings in the world. Story plan (idea) First shot, starts before song starts, an elderly person (in the future, perhaps 50 years from now) sat on sofa presses a button on remote control and then the music starts and zooms into TV and the actual music video begins. This way i can represent different social groups of ages and adds depth to video, the idea that the elderly person is watching back on their teenage years in todays time period and reminiscing, thinking about how they were oblivious to what was going to come as they did not act upon the issues of the world sooner. Music video treatment Overall idea: In the video I aim to portray how teenagers do not want to  have to worry about the problems in the world such as war and climate crisis however feel that it is their place to make change. The video will show contrast between a typical, chilled out day for a group of teenagers which shows what they want to do and quick, sharp shots that break this happiness up and show a manic rush. Target audience: I am attracting the target audience by creating a relatable story line. The aesthetic of the video will be heartening for 16-25 year olds as it is peaceful and relaxing. Location: As seen in my mood board, the video will be filmed outside in fields and around lakes which will hopefully highlight the relaxing aesthetic. The idea of being outside in nature should prove the down to earth message. I plan to shoot in a field with long grass, on and around a lake. For my protest music video, I have chosen to use the song 'Hypersonic Missiles' by the artist, Sam Fender. Fender is a new and upcoming artist who writes indie rock music, often with meaningful messages behind his songs. I chose this song because as well as it fitting the brief, I am passionate about the protest message behind it and enjoy the song itself. The song is a dense, compelling picture of the modern world- from politics to social change to the world grinding to a halt thanks to climate change and war. I think this is a very current matter which is affecting everyone from all backgrounds, which is why it is important. The artist is someone that would make this protest because he is a young and aware person who understands the problems the world is facing and highlights how many young people feel a pressure to make change yet don't know how.
